Commonly Asked Questions

If none of these questions help you, head over to our form page, or contact us at theorthotics@gmail.com or using
our phone number 718-322-8181.

What if I already have my own molds?

If you have your own molds, you can send this to us so we can create new orthotics for you. Call us at 1-800-507-6922 if you need directions on how to send them to us. We also keep your impression molds so you can order additional orthotics from us in the future.

Do I need a prescription for custom made orthotics?

A prescription is not necessary because our podiatrist is licensed to prescribe orthotics dependent on the mold of your foot and the questionnaire you will complete. If you have a prescription, send a copy with the impression box you send back.

What if I am not satisfied with my orthotics direct custom fitted insole?

Our primary concern is to help with your foot related problems so we do everything we can to help you. In the unlikely event you are not satisfied, simply return your orthotics within thirty days and we will refund the price (minus the impression fee and shipping & handling)

Who needs Custom Orthotics?

Anyone who suffers from foot pain, knee pain, ankle pain, or back pain will find relief from a custom orthotics. These alignments are generally related to your feet. Movie stars, pro athletes, politicians and thousands more have enjoyed custom insoles and the relief that they provide.

What materials are used to make the custom insole?

Different materials are used based upon your lifestyle and how you plan to use it. For example, a thermoplastic insole designed for a runner would not work for a woman that needs a thinner insoles for dress shoes. So, materials used vary based on how you will use the insole. Since insoles are created for several different needs, many people order more then one. This is why they are called custom made. Inform us on the usage, and we’ll take care of the rest.

How much are custom orthotics?

Other orthotics would cost about $300 – $600 and you would have to take the time and trouble to drive to a clinic and etc. We provide the same orthotics for only $79.99 (plus shipping and handling). Our orthotics are guaranteed so you have nothing to lose except your pain. Don’t hesitate and order yours today.

Why shouldn't you purchase custom made orthotics of an over-the-counter sole?

You wouldn’t purchase prescription eyeglasses designed for someone else’s eyes if you wanted to correct your vision. You wouldn’t purchase a mouth appliance designed for someone else if you wanted to correct your overbite. So you shouldn’t purchase a generic insole that is not professionally selected from impressions of your feet to relieve YOUR specific pain. Feet are like fingerprints and the sets of feet are alike. A custom-fit insole is molded to fit YOUR foot and relieve YOUR pain.
